Mar-Train Yamaha Racing and Jack Kennedy have renewed their record-breaking partnership for the 2023 season as the reigning Quattro Group British Supersport Champions progressed into the Bennetts British Superbike Championship.
The Northern Ireland based team receive technical support from Yamaha Motor UK via GYTR Pro Shop Raceways Motorcycles (McAMS Yamaha) as they made the step up to the premier class for the first time after clinching their second British Supersport title at Snetterton. The Mar-Train Yamaha Racing team first won the British Supersport title in 2013 with Stuart Easton.
Mar-Train Yamaha Racing had an initial outing at the end of the 2022 season, giving the team a vital opportunity to test in the environment of a Bennetts BSB event ahead of their first full campaign in the championship in 2023, where they achieved top ten finishes with Jack Kennedy. The team returned for the 2024 season with an all-new look as McAMS, the UK’s leading motorcycle accident management company, teamed up with Mar-Train Racing for the 2024 Championship.
The move, saw McAMS join Mar-Train as title sponsor in a two-year deal, marking the beginning of a new era for the McAMS Racing by Mar-Train team, fielding 2015 Moto3 World Champion Danny Kent on a Yamaha R1 and he continues in 2025.
