Kyle Ryde started his early career competing in the Red Bull Rookies Cup in 2011 and 2012 before his first visit to the British Championship paddock, where he went on to celebrate title success in the British 125 class in 2011.

Ryde then secured another title victory in 2014 when he secured the Pirelli National Junior Superstock Championship, which later saw him promoted to the British and World Supersport classes in the following seasons.

In 2018 Ryde returned to British Championship action, finishing fifth in the battle for the British GP2 Championship, which in 2019 he went on to add to his title-winning tally.

Ryde then entered the Bennetts British Superbike Championship for his first full season campaign in 2020 with the Buildbase Suzuki team, securing his first race wins in the series and finishing the year in ninth place in the overall standings.  

In 2021, Ryde was a podium finisher with the Rich Energy OMG Racing BMW team and remained with the team for the 2022 season, although they switched manufacturer to Yamaha. Ryde was a race winner and Showdown contender, finishing the year sixth in the standings and back for more in 2023 with the LAMI OMG Yamaha team.
