Superbike racing legend Carl Fogarty is ready to take on the best of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship as the four-time World Champion joins forces with Superbike Advocates Racing to announce an all-new team for the 2026 season.
‘Foggy’ remains one of the sport’s most iconic racers after he put Britain firmly at the forefront of Superbike racing during the 90s, celebrating four world titles and 59 race wins all with Ducati. His bullish determination delivered an illustrious career and he still maintains his position as one of the most successful riders in the championship’s history despite his racing career ending prematurely in 2000.
‘Foggy’ will take on the role as Team Principal as he reunites with Ducati for the new team, which is spearheaded by Lecha Khouri, the driving force behind Supercar Advocates, an outfit that owns several racing teams. He is no stranger to the racetrack himself, competing in the F1 Heritage class and already leading a team in the Australian Superbike Championship. The new team will be working with the experienced Jackson Racing squad.
‘Foggy’ said: “I am looking forward to being back racing! I am older and wiser now than when I ran a team before and that was a development bike, but this time we will be on a proven bike that can win. We want to hit the ground running straight away and be in a position to win races from the off.
“I love the racing in BSB. Of the three championships I follow – MotoGP, World Superbikes and BSB, it is my favourite one. That’s because of how close the racing is, the nature of the circuits that they race on, the power of the bikes and the way that the electronics don’t interfere with the riders, they control it and I can relate to that from when I raced.
“I’m happy to be part of this and with my racing knowledge and experience, being involved with this race team is incredibly exciting.”
Lecha Khouri commented: “This news of Carl Fogarty joining Superbike Advocates Racing in BSB for 2026 is absolutely exciting.
