The covers will come off the MasterMac Honda at the Scottish Motorcycle Show next month as home hero John McPhee and teammate Charlie Nesbitt join the team at the Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh on March 8/9 to unveil their 2025 Bennetts British Superbike Championship livery.
McPhee, who hails from Oban in Scotland, is returning for his debut season in Bennetts BSB from a decade on the world stage, which included four Moto3 World Championship race wins. The visit to the Show will mark his first appearance with MasterMac Honda, as the team unveil their new livery. Nesbitt will also feature at the show throughout the weekend as he gets set for his fourth season with the team and aiming to build on some impressive results to date.
The team is preparing for its third successive season with Honda Fireblade machinery and also it’s third with MasterMac Surfacing as title sponsor, with the company’s name continuing to feature prominently in the revised 2025 livery.
McPhee said: “I’m really excited about the season and it feels extra special that the team has chosen the Scottish Motorcycle Show to display the new bike to the public for the first time. We’ll be there all weekend and I’m looking forward to hopefully meeting plenty of fans and taking part in what I know will be a great event.”
Nesbitt said: “I can’t wait to get started and I’m sure that John joining the team will only help us to push forward this year. The new livery looks great and I’m pleased we have a chance to showcase it to the fans in Edinburgh as we build up to the new season.”
Team manager Steve Hicken concluded: “The consistency we’ve got in terms of the bike and the support of MasterMac, along with a number of other continuing sponsors, should provide us with the foundations for a strong season.
“John’s arrival in the team is the one big change and that will be exciting for the fans who’ve watched him in Moto3 and World Supersport over the years, so it makes perfect sense for us to head to Scotland to launch our plans.”
