Circuito de Navarra launches the first R&G Official Testing action of the 2025 Bennetts British Superbike Championship as teams and riders return to the Spanish circuit for the first time since the completion of a multi-million Euro redevelopment programme.
The test will see a number of riders make their official debuts with new teams including John McPhee with MasterMac Honda, Leon Haslam with Moto Rapido Ducati Racing, plus TA Racing’s move of manufacturer as Rory Skinner and Edoardo Colombi line up in BSB and the Quattro Group British Supersport Championship respectively for Cheshire Mouldings Ducati. Storm Stacey also will make his first on track appearance with the Bathams AJN Racing BMW team.
The R&G Official Test will also feature Scott Swann and the Send My Bag Racing by IWR Honda team, plus they will be joined by Honda Racing UK’s Tommy Bridewell and Andrew Irwin in addition to the newly unveiled McAMS Racing Yamaha with Danny Kent.
The test marks the first opportunity to catch the 2025 contenders in official action before they return for two further pre-season tests at Donington Park (April 18/19) and Oulton Park (April 23/24). Today (Saturday) some teams took to the track for some initial shakedown sessions in preparation for tomorrow's opening day.
