Tinker to make Bennetts BSB debut at Donington Park with NP Racing Kawasaki

23 September 2024

Corey Tinker will make his Bennetts British Superbike Championship debut at Donington Park this weekend (27/28/29 September) after joining the NP Racing Kawasaki team following a mutual decision for Louis Valleley to sit out the final two rounds.

The 18-year-old from Ipswich is no stranger to the British Championship paddock, having competed in the British Talent Cup before moving into the European Talent Cup and this season returned to the ESBK Spanish Superstock Championship where he has celebrated podium finishes.

Tinker said: “I am really looking forward to the opportunity and experience of riding in British Superbikes as it has always been a dream of mine and is going to be a step forward in my career. I need to say thank you to the team and Neil for giving me the challenge.”

Team Owner Neil Pearson commented: “I am really happy to have Corey join the team and take his first step into the BSB Championship. It's a great opportunity for him and the team in more ways than one. There will obviously be no pressure on him this weekend, he just needs to learn the bike and keep improving over the weekend as he gets to grips with the Superbike.”
