17 October 2024

The 2024 Bennetts British Superbike Championship went down to the wire in sensational style at the season finale with the title not decided until the final corner of the last lap of the year as Kyle Ryde celebrated a spectacular victory after a race-long duel with Tommy Bridewell.

The victory was Ryde and OMG GRILLA Yamaha Racing’s ninth of the season, but after 32 races the Championship produced nine different race winners with a further seven podium finishers. For the first time Rory Skinner, Storm Stacey and Danny Kent celebrated a race win, whilst Lewis Rollo claimed a first top three result.

Eight different teams claimed victory; including McAMS Racing Yamaha and Team LKQ Euro Car Parts Kawasaki for the first time, whilst C&L Fairburn Properties/Look Forward Racing Honda and IN Competition SENCAT Aprilia debuted on the podium. Five different manufacturers claimed victory with all six represented celebrating podium success.
