Thomas Strudwick is the ABK Beer 0% BMW Motorrad F 900 R Cup champion after finishing second in today’s opening Heat.
The Case Moto BMW rider took the title after finishing just 0.010secs behind ROKiT Racing’s James Ellison, which was enough to give him the points advantage needed to claim the championship a day before the season end.
As Strudwick celebrated his win, his main rival Nikki Coates was forced to head out for Heat Two, which he won with ease, leading the whole race to take victory by 2.870secs ahead of James Bull.
