After 10 years representing BMW Motorrad in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship and International Road Racing, TAS Racing will seek a new challenge for 2025.
The relationship yielded considerable success with numerous race victories in the British Superbike Championship, not forgetting two memorable title wins in the National Superstock class, a fitting reward.
During the 10-year association with BMW Motorrad, tangible success was also achieved on the International Road Racing scene, TAS Racing delivered six Isle of Man TT victories, including the coveted Senior TT race back in June 2024; together with multiple victories at the International North West 200 and the historic Ulster Grand Prix. There were also race wins this season at the Southern 100 and Armoy Race of Legends.
The opportunity with BMW came during the 2014 season, when the late and hugely respected Lee Nicholls, former UK Head of Marketing and PR, provided the opportunity for TAS to join forces with the prestigious German marque.
Philip Neill, TAS Racing Team Principal commented: "It was an honour to represent BMW Motorrad across various racing platforms and we remain forever grateful for the opportunity. Inevitably, all things must come to an end and we wish BMW Motorrad and its teams and riders continued success, as we at TAS Racing look forward to a new chapter as we enter our twenty-sixth season of competitive racing.”
