Kent and McAMS Racing Yamaha get dialled in at Knockhill test

29 May 2024

Danny Kent and the McAMS Racing Yamaha team continued their preparations for the forthcoming round of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship at Knockhill with a test at the Fife circuit yesterday.

Kent completed 44 laps in the early dry conditions, utilising the track time for further familiarisation of the circuit, with the rapid lap crucial to get right with the smallest of margins separating the leading contenders. The team worked through a small amount of electrics and suspension changes from Donington Park, before testing a different suspension link, which was a positive step for the team ahead of round four.

Kent said: “We had a good half a day testing yesterday and we managed to dial the bike in so we can go into FP1 of the race weekend with a bike that we know works. I felt good and comfortable on the Yamaha around Knockhill and I am feeling confident going into the race weekend.”
