Four different race winners, eight different podium finishers: It’s game on ahead of Knockhill

Three rounds down and the Bennetts British Superbike Championship heads to Knockhill next for the fourth round of the title fight following a stunning race three at Donington Park last time out.

Ryan Vickers completed the opening double of the season at Circuito de Navarra before Glenn Irwin completed the treble at Oulton Park on the return to familiar territory.

However as the Championship hit Donington Park, Kyle Ryde shared the wins with Glenn Irwin and Jason O'Halloran, with the Australian claiming a first victory with Kawasaki in an incredible battle for supremacy.

Whilst four riders have stood on the top step of the podium, Danny Kent and Christian Iddon have also claimed podium finishes, whilst reigning Champion Tommy Bridewell continues to edge closer to his first race win with Honda Racing UK. Meanwhile Leon Haslam took his first top three finish of the season at the previous round at Donington Park.

That means Glenn Irwin and the Hager PBM Ducati team arrive in Scotland with a 13-point advantage over Kent, who in turn is just seven points adrift, with a slender two point edge over Bridewell. Iddon, Haslam and O’Halloran are next in the chasing pack as the next three races beckon.
