James Cleary will debut in the ABK Beer 0% BMW F 900 R Cup this season, powered by JCR Motorsport and EB Critical Engineering Services Ltd for his opening campaign.

Cleary has previously lined up in the Hel British Junior Supersport class and is now lining up for the new challenge when the season gets underway at Circuito de Navarra next month (April 20 – 21).

Cleary said: “I’m excited to be entering the BMW F 900 R Cup. I am under no illusions this will be a tough and challenging year against a very strong field, but I look forward to the challenge. I can’t thank my Mum and Dad, Darren, EB Critical Engineering Services Ltd, Engenda Group Ltd and Jemsar Engineering Ltd who have all dug deep, providing me with this opportunity."

Daniel Cleary, of JCR Motorsport, concluded: “We are extremely happy to be able to provide James with this opportunity, as a new team we are looking forward to watching James develop his racing career.

“For the last few years, James has been actively promoting engineering as a career pathway both within motorsport and amongst his peers at NG Road Racing and in the British Paddock. As James steps up into the BMW F 900 R Cup the opportunity for aspiring motorsport students to become involved in working on his EB Critical Engineering Services Ltd Cup bike has become available. As a team, we are proud of this and can’t wait to get James and his bike into the awning and out onto the track.”
