Mike Smith took control of this morning’s LCQ race at Brands Hatch to storm to victory by 6.450secs over Gary Ford.
John Dudman was third, with Matt Stevens fourth as polesitter Joe Carnell took fifth. The top 14 will now go through to take part in this afternoon’s Main Event.
