ABK Beer 0% BMW Motorrad F 900 R Cup standings leader Thomas Strudwick topped the times in the opening track action at the Superbike World Championship round at Donington Park, setting the pace in Free Practice by 0.737s.
Strudwick arrives at this weekend’s event leading the standings from Nikki Coates by just three points, and the Case Moto BMW rider held off Barry Burrell and Coates in the opening session.
Robert Varey was fourth fastest just ahead of Michael Rutter who completed the top five ahead of Qualifying.
