The C&L Fairburn Properties/Look Forward Racing Honda team will return to the Bennetts British Superbike Championship in 2025, re-signing Billy McConnell who continues with the team for a second consecutive season in the Superbike class.
The team will continue to field the Honda Fireblade, which together they achieved the team’s first podium finish in Bennetts BSB at Thruxton and eight top ten finishes. C&L Fairburn Properties/Look Forward Racing Honda have also announced a new partner for the new season, as Constructional Timber join them for 2025.
McConnell said: “I am really looking forward to next year; 2024 was a big challenge for us having not ridden in the Superbike class for several years. We gained some brilliant information and knowledge, and it will be great to be with the same team, same bike and same crew around me. A huge thanks to the C&L Fairburn Properties Look Forward team for giving me this fantastic opportunity again for 2025 and we can’t wait to get going.”
Martin Daws from Constructional Timber commented: “As a motorcycle enthusiast for many years, I was very lucky to be introduced to the team by Vicky and Mark Davies. After following the fortunes of Billy at a few of the race meetings and having the opportunity to get access to the pit garage, we decided it would be good for Constructional Timber to contribute with company sponsorship for the 2025 season. We are looking forward to following Billy and the teams progress around the country and Holland next year.”
Team owner Chris Fairburn concluded: “We had a great season in 2024 and very proud of what we managed to achieve in our first year in the Bennetts British Superbike class with Billy. We can’t wait to put all this information towards our 2025 campaign and hopefully fight for some more podiums and wins. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Martin for coming on board but also to all our loyal and new sponsors for the new season. Roll on May!”
