Marco Morelli will make his UK racing debut this weekend as the European Talent Cup standings leader lines up as a wildcard in the R&G British Talent Cup at Thruxton with the Fibre-Tech MLav Honda team.
Morelli has experience in the Road to MotoGP programme including the Red Bull Rookies as the 17-year-old currently leads the European Talent Cup standings with five rounds remaining.
Morelli said: “I’m very excited to be racing in the British Talent Cup at Thruxton this weekend. I’ve never been to England before, so I’m really interested in riding a different track and seeing all of the British fans! I would like to thank Fibre-Tech MLav Honda Team for the opportunity and let’s see what’s possible.”
