Three races remain to decide the 2023 Bennetts British Superbike Champion at Brands Hatch next weekend (13/14/15 October) and the BeerMonster Ducati teammates are both determined to be number one as the PBM Team target an unprecedented ninth title in memory of their late Team Owner Paul Bird.
Tommy Bridewell and Glenn Irwin head into the title decider separated by just 7.5 points and with the pair seeing red last time out and clashing at Donington Park, there is still nothing between them as they return to the Grand Prix circuit for the final three decisive races.
Bridewell holds the narrowest of margins over Irwin, but the pair need to return to their podium finishing form to keep their rivals behind them after the deficit was slashed last time out at Donington Park.
The teammates have claimed eight race wins apiece so far in 2023 with Bridewell tallying an additional seven podiums, whilst Irwin currently holds eight.
Earlier in the season, Bridewell claimed a double win at Brands Hatch as Irwin claimed a podium finish in race three, but the pair will come out fighting next weekend as they bid to make amends for Donington Park and seal a poignant ninth title for the PBM Team.
