Finley Arscott dominated the last ever Junior Superstock qualifying session, sauntering to pole with a lap of 1min 33.459secs.
Arscott held the top spot for much of the session, consistently bettering his time lap by lap, eventually beating Declan Connell by 0.384secs as Sam Laffins was third.
Behind, it was a battle of the championship protagonists as Aaron Silvester, who lost his points lead after a dismal Donington weekend, managed to secure fourth on the grid ahead of Jacob Hatch.
Owen Jenner, who comes into the weekend with a 15-point lead, had a difficult session and could only qualify 12th.
Cameron Dawson, who sits third, qualified eighth and Asher Durham, who is fourth in the points and still in the mix, qualified seventh.
