Jacob Stephenson has taken the last ever Junior Supersport race win at Donington Park, as Finn Smart-Weeden crossed the line second to take the title.
Stephenson enjoyed a race long battle with Ted Wilkinson until Wilkinson crashed at the final corner of the last lap, allowing Smart-Weeden to move up from third.
But Smart-Weeden’s championship had already been won, as his main rival, Lennon Docherty, crashed out a lap earlier while running in fourth position. As a result, he also missed out on the runner-up spot, which went instead to Lewis Jones.
Jack Kirsch took third as Jones was fourth and Lewis Smart rounded out the top five.
