The FHO Racing BMW team is ready for the Bennetts British Superbike Championship, as the team unveiled its stunning 2023 BMW M 1000 RR machines ahead of the second R&G Official Test this week at Silverstone.
This season Faye Ho’s squad will be the official factory supported BMW Motorrad UK team in the British Championship, as it enters its third competitive season after their debut in 2021.
2022 was mixed in terms of results for the Louth-based squad, however their fortunes turned towards the end of the season which saw Peter Hickman back at the sharp end in Bennetts BSB collecting a win, two seconds and a third place.
Joining Hickman is two-time British Champion Josh Brookes, who over the winter has enjoyed getting to grips with BMW machinery racing in a Summer Night Series in Australia, as he aims to hit the ground running in Bennetts BSB with a new team and a new machine beneath him.
The FHO Racing BMW team return to the track for a two day test this week at Silverstone (March 28/29), ready for round one which takes place at Easter (April 7/8/9).
Faye Ho – Team Principal commented: “I’m excited for the 2023 season and so honoured to be the official factory supported BMW Motorrad UK team in the British Championship. For what is such a young team this is a huge accomplishment and shows the hard work and dedication everyone has put in over our short competitive period. From the guys on the track, to those working behind the scenes, and all I do with the sport including the platform I provide for young female racers, it’s fantastic we’ve been rewarded with this from BMW Motorrad UK.
“This year we retain Peter, and he’s joined by Josh, who has only really had a few days with the team, but it was clear over the weekend at Donington Park he’s already fitted in well, and you can see his determination to succeed this year.”
