Lewis Jones beat Maximus Hardy by 0.101secs in this morning’s first race as the Junior Supersport action finally got underway.
Jones, who had led most of the race, found himself in a three-way last lap scrap with Hardy and polesitter Calum Beach, but emerged the winner ahead of Hardy with Beach third.
Lennon Docherty crossed the line fourth, some eight seconds behind the top three as Jacob Stephenson rounded out the top five.
