Quattro Group British GP2 Championship contenders Go Racing Nova return for the 2023 season, retaining Harvey Claridge and signing Harry Rowlings for their forthcoming campaign.
Claridge finished third in last year’s title battle, securing a pair of race wins, including his first at Oulton Park, plus a total of 14 podium finishes in his second season in the class.
Rowlings joins the line-up following two seasons with his family-run team team onboard the Triumph powered BER Evo GP2 bike. In 2022 he celebrated six podiums and consistent top 15 finishes to end the season fifth in the overall standings.
Claridge said: “I can’t wait to get the 2023 season underway. The team have believed in me over the last two seasons and hopefully this season, which will be my third in this class, we can push together and keep the momentum we ended last season with. The opportunity is great and I’m ready to give it my all.”
Rowlings said: “I’m really excited to be joining the Go Racing Nova team for this year. Coming off the back of a strong 2022 season for myself, I’m looking forward to joining the experienced team to learn some more and hopefully put together a great year for us all.”
Team Principal Mark Sadler commented: “We’re very excited to have 22-year-old Harry Rowlings, a podium finisher last season, joining the team and riding alongside 17-year-old Harvey Claridge, who finished third in last year’s championship.”
