The British Motorcycle Racing community is united in paying tribute to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II for her inspirational life of service and her unparalleled contribution to the United Kingdom.
Following the publication of the Cabinet Office guidance this morning and after consultation between the Motorcycle Circuit Racing Control Board, the series promoter/organiser and participating teams, the Bennetts British Superbike Championship event at Snetterton will take place as planned this weekend.
A number of special procedures will be implemented as a mark of respect, and as well silent tributes will take place on the starting grid before the Superbike races on Saturday and (the first race on) Sunday.
All teams and riders will be invited to wear black armbands and/or display emblems to appropriately respect the passing of Her Majesty the Queen.
