Silverstone will host the final Bennetts British Superbike Championship pre-season R&G Official Test this week (Wednesday and Thursday) as the 2022 contenders get on track for one final time before the opening round of the season this Easter (April 15/16/17).
McAMS Yamaha’s Jason O'Halloran topped the Snetterton test, narrowly ahead of returning World Champion Tom Sykes, with lap record shattering pace at the opening event.
Now attentions turn to Silverstone this week and the next track action of the 2022 season. Last week’s Donington Park test was hampered by the weather conditions and so the final two-day pre-season test has become even more crucial in order to make the final preparations for the rapidly approaching opening round.
