Luke Mossey is the latest name to confirm his place on next year’s British Superbike Championship grid as he returns with the iForce Lloyd & Jones BMW team for the 2023 season.
Mossey joined the team midway through this year, but injury hampered the end of his season so the multiple race winner is now looking forward to returning to the championship with the Liverpool-based team next year.
Mossey said. “I’m really excited to be staying with iForce Lloyd & Jones BMW, we had a great first time out on the bike at Thruxton, where we showed our speed straight from the off. Unfortunately, having this injury to my shoulder hampered my season, which was frustrating and a disappointing end to the year.
“The team have shown a lot of faith in me and I believe we can do a fantastic job next year and it is vital that we start to celebrate success on the track.”
Team Principal John Jameson concluded. “We are absolutely thrilled to have signed Luke as part of our rider line-up, as we enter our 22nd season in the British Superbike paddock. We believe a rider of Luke’s calibre will soon be back to where he should be. As a team we are confident he will deliver the results we need in what is a very competitive series and we can’t wait to see what he can do as the new season unfolds.”
