James McManus completed a double victory in the Hel Performance British Junior Supersport Championship at Donington Park, extending his advantage in the standings for the Completely Motorbikes / Affinity Kawasaki team.
Jack Roach led on the opening lap from Charlie Atkins, McManus and Kieran Kent as the trio locked horns again for the victory.
Roach made an attempt to break the pack, but McManus was closing him back in who had tried to make an early break with Atkins and Ellis in third and fourth.
Roach and McManus exchanged positions on lap four as the battle for the lead raged on between the pair as Hardie then moved into third and they continued to tussle for the positions.
By lap seven, Roach regained the lead but McManus was straight back ahead with Hardie, Ellis and Kent all in contention for the final podium positions.
On the penultimate lap McManus still had the lead, but Ellis had moved ahead of Roach for second with Atkins back in fourth ahead of Kent and the battle for the podium positions went down to the wire at Donington Park.
McManus had the edge at the chequered flag as Atkins took second place with Kent once again on the podium in third. Hardie claimed fourth with Abbz Thomas taking her best result of the season in fifth place.
