Charlie Atkins has taken the opening HEL Performance British Junior Supersport Championship with Motocourse race win after a busy 13-lap scrap at Silverstone.
Atkins crossed the line 0.209secs ahead of Harry Cook as Friday’s frontrunner Kieran Kent was third.
Fourth was Jack Roach from James McManus in fifth.
Meanwhile, Charlotte Marcuzzo – who finished 10th – will become the first ever female to start from pole in a Junior Supersport race tomorrow after clocking the fastest lap.
