The MPM Routz Racing Team has announced that they will be returning to the British paddock for their third consecutive year in the Quattro Group British Supersport Championship with Dutch contender Jaimie Van Sikkelerus.
After joining the championship in 2021, Van Sikkelerus has continued to make consistent progress in the class, including fighting consistently at the front end of the field last season, finishing fifth in the final standings. This season together highlights included podiums including a memorable win on the second visit to Donington Park.
Van Sikkelerus said: “I’m really looking forward to being back in the British Supersport Championship because it is a great championship. I am very happy to join the season with my same team members as how we finished, but this time we have a new target! I’m really motivated to fight for the Championship as we know that we can be strong, and the package looks perfect for next season.
“At this moment I’m still in recovery because of a big cancer operation, but I am clear, and this gives an extra boost after a unique season. The winter plan looks great, me and the team will be ready to fight for the best we can. So, I can’t wait until the first race, and I would like to give a huge thanks to my team and everyone who gives their support.”
