Cheshire Mouldings, the UKs largest manufacturer of wood mouldings and stair parts, are joining forces with FS-3 Racing, the official Kawasaki Bennetts British Superbike Championship team, to challenge for championship honours.
No strangers to motorcycle racing, Cheshire Mouldings already support Kawasaki’s World Superbike team and runners in BSB support classes. Having experienced the quality and professionalism of the superbike class and its audience reach, Cheshire Mouldings see participation at the top level as an excellent platform to promote their business development.
Now in their seventh season in the championship, FS-3 have steadily built their infrastructure to become established as a front-running team. Fourth place in the final standings in 2019 with Danny Buchan, led to the team becoming Kawasaki’s official BSB team, expanding to run two superbikes.
After strong showings in the past two years, FS-3 have benefitted from development work over the winter to start the 2022 season with podium places at the opening rounds for Rory Skinner and Lee Jackson, including Lee’s first Bennetts BSB victory last time out at Oulton Park.
Managing Director John Carney is excited by the prospect of Cheshire Mouldings becoming a high-profile supporter of FS-3 Racing: “We are thrilled to be sponsoring FS-3 Kawasaki. At Cheshire Mouldings we strive to be the best in everything we do which is why a partnership with this top British Superbike team is a perfect fit for us. We look forward to having our brand associated with FS-3 and can’t wait to see our logo on the track soon.”
FS-3 Racing Team Principal Nigel Snook welcomed the new partnership: “Success in motorsport really is a team effort. We are delighted to be going into partnership with John and the team at Cheshire Moldings who have a deep understanding of how it all works. Together, we aim to keep up our challenge for podiums finishes, race wins and championship success.”
