Liam Delves will return to the Pirelli National Junior Superstock Championship this season, joining the title-winning JR Performance Racing team for his 2021 campaign.
The team were victorious last season with Ben Luxton and now are set to fight to retain the title with Delves, who was a podium finisher last year on his way to finishing fifth in the overall standings.
Delves said: “I’m really excited for the coming season. After having great success on the Kawasaki in 2019 taking my first win at Thruxton, I know I’m only going in the right direction joining a proven team and proven bike. After a successful test at Cadwell Park last week, I felt at home straight away on the Kawasaki 636. I’ve had a great relationship with Joe for many years now and I no together we can get the job done. A massive thank you to him and all my sponsors for making it happen this season.”
Team Principal, Joe Richardson commented: “Everyone in the JR Performance Racing Team are really excited to have Liam onboard for this season. He is a friendly character to have in the team and has lots of talent when it comes to racing a motorbike. With everything put in place, I believe he can be a title contender.
“I’m really looking forward to the first test at Silverstone in a couple of weeks’ time and the season getting started. Thank you to all our team sponsors for the coming season, including Kawasaki UK, DLR Transport, EBC Brakes, R&G Crash Protection, Syntol Lubricants, NGK, MSS Performance, SH Window Cleaning, Link Engineering, JK Body Repairs, Concept Furniture and K-Tech Suspension.”
