The Bennetts British Superbike Championship is delighted to announce a new partnership with MOTOCOURSE, the World’s Leading Grand Prix and Superbike Annual, ahead of the 2021 season.
The new collaboration will rekindle a close association of the past, delivering an additional media platform to the principal talent development racing classes to showcase promising, upcoming riders in both the Honda British Talent Cup and the HEL Performance British Junior Supersport Championship.
MOTOCOURSE is widely regarded as the definitive record of motorcycle racing across the globe and no other publication covers motorcycle racing in as much depth. The annual edition covers Bennetts BSB and the sport from MotoGP to the World Superbike Championship, providing the most comprehensive set of results from all the international and national championships since its launch in 1976.
The media partnership will also deliver a new opportunity to highlight the junior series within Bennetts BSB, anticipating that MOTOCOURSE can reach a new younger audience who may not be familiar with its long-standing history and the depth of editorial and photography.
Bryn Williams, Commercial Director, Icon Publishing Limited commented: “I would like to thank Stuart Higgs and the Bennetts British Superbike Championship for the opportunity to partner with the Honda British Talent Cup and HEL Performance British Junior Supersport Championship which are important stepping stones for young talent in their motorcycle racing careers.
“MOTOCOURSE has been the definitive record of motorcycle racing since the heady days of Barry Sheene in 1976 and we continue to provide unrivalled reporting and results across all categories. Our BSB coverage has increased year on year as the championship has flourished under MSVR and this year will see a considerable increase in editorial including the junior and supporting championships.”
Bennetts British Superbike Championship Series Director Stuart Higgs said: “MOTOCOURSE has provided the definitive history of motorcycle racing from 1976 to the present day. This new association will resurrect a historical feature of showcasing emerging British racing talent in the annual MOTOCOURSE publication. Our two prominent entry-level series, the Honda British Talent Cup and HEL Performance British Junior Supersport Championship will be supported by MOTOCOURSE. It’s a huge privilege to formally associate the Bennetts British Superbike Championship with MOTOCOURSE.”
